Cára-Ann was born and raised in New York, where she studied art most of her life. She creates art as an expression of love. She is a hopeless romantic, an artist, an advocate, and a writer.

She paints and draws in her home studio, usually late into the night, when the creative surge is ignited and the mind is most quiet. She wants her art to make people feel connected to life. When someone sees her work, she hopes they come away believing anything is possible, that life is still full of magic.

Helping people has always been at the heart of what Cára-Ann does. That same drive led her to create DIS App: Autoimmune Good Vibes, an app for people living with autoimmune conditions, built around the belief that life can still be fun, full, and good.

She currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her dog, Coco Chanel.
